Who They Are
Creative Energy is a multi-location hot tub, swim spa, and fireplace retailer. They are a licensed reseller for Hot Spring and Endless Pools products. They have 3 showrooms throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as a separate service center in Richmond. Creative Energy wanted to strengthen customer loyalty/retention in order to build up their customer value.
The Challenge
First, their products are high-ticket items with a long lifetime value so customers are often either one-and-done or just looking for maintenance products. As a result, we needed to either incentivize customers to upgrade or to invest in ongoing spa care. And second, Creative Energy faced strong competition from rival spa retailers and the spa manufacturers themselves.
The Solution
We devised a blogging strategy that focused on rigorous spa use and proper maintenance. We redesigned their spa product pages to highlight new features on newer spa generations. And finally, we built up Creative Energy as a one-stop shop for spas, spa accessories, spa supplies, and spa maintenance services.
